Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Saturday 2nd November 2013:
Yep, it's still grinding in here this morning too!
Not as big as yesterday but still a fun looking three feet with the odd bigger set wave. You have to wait for those sets (as always at Harlyn!) but they are sliding around the headland and then marching to the beach, in their own time.
The dropping tide is showing that hollow crunch thing that Harlyn does so well, letting you know it if you get landed on by one of those set waves but also giving you that burst of energy when you catch one of those rare peelers.
You might want to get in fairly quickly today unless you're comfortable with a bit of size and a bit of power. It is likely to build in size as soon as the tide turns, jumping to twice its size and then twice that and then, yep at least twice that!
Big waves could be grinding our coast by this evening!
