Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Friday 8th November 2013:
A grey old day is hiding the join between sky and sea this morning, a steady downpour of rain merging the land into the mix as well.
There are some bumping waves cruising through on the sets, the wind light and from the south west and so making for some lumpiness and sloppiness.
There's a mean rip tearing through the outside break right now too, just where the set waves are peaking, making for a little madness out there but creating some hollowness too.
But it's not great, not even good really, especially considering the paddle.
Let's have another shimmy over to Harlyn Bay and see what's going on there........
And here's a mini-movie that Rhys (Barfield) put together over the last month or two: vimeo.com/78745351
And of course, spare a thought for our friends in the Philippines, they are just about to be whomped by that super storm!
Good luck and stay safe!
