Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Sunday 10th November 2013:
The wind is blowing pretty much straight onshore here this morning, although the surf is better than you would expect.
There's three feet or bigger of rolling surf washing up the beach, breaking just that bit farther out than it does on cleaner conditions allowing a bit more of a ride. There's a couple of couples out catching some Sunday morning inside ones and they look like they're having fun and I think that those outside ones might even be more funner!
But the wind is forecast to lighten through the morning and then gradually slip to the south west through lunchtime. This afternoon should be a whole different setup with light offshores and still that reeling swell. It is a bit of a pity that the tide is dropping as the wind changes through the afternoon, leaving those low tide dredgers to entertain us but there should be some fun grinders for everyone out there through this afternoon!
