Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Monday 11th November 2013:
It's very pleasant around here this morning, in amongst the murk and mist and rain and greyness!
The surf is rolling in, a consistent couple of feet and offshore, a three foot set occasionally whomping across the sand with even bigger ones slowly lumbering into the bay before unloading themselves in a fit of energy.
Inconsistent but clean and hollow waves are coming through, the light offshore wind just helping to hollow those waves out and hold them up that little bit longer. It's inconsistent but it is looking promising. And it should improve as the tide rises through the morning, dropping a little as the tide drops through the afternoon.
A gloomy Harlyn day full of little tubes!
That'll do to start the week!
