Strong Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.05 a.m. on Tuesday 19th November 2013:
It's a chilly one this morning, that north westerly wind blowing in from colder climes and bringing a little bite of Winter with it.
And blowing out the surf too!
The surf is junk this morning, three to four feet and bigger but in a turmoil of a mixed up and blown about mess. But the moon is full and those clouds are scudding across it, creating shapes and shadows and a light-show to enjoy.
Nope, there's no surf here today, it's another drive to the far coast for some cleaner conditions. If it's big enough over there?
Oh, and this is fairly important: Google are pulling their checkout (Google Wallet) payment facilities on the 20th November and so any purchases from our website from then will not be able to be processed!
As most regular visitors to the site know, we have had problems in trying to re-build and modernise the site. But the long and short of it is is that the checkout stuff on the shop part of the site will not be working as we cannot get into the site to remove it!
So it might just be advisable if you DO NOT USE IT!
Now there's a message that every shopkeeper wants to advertise on the build up to Christmas!
With some cold weather aiming our way soon, now might be the time to consider upgrading your winter wetsuit or getting your first one? We have the complete range of this season's Xcel and O'Neill winter suits on the rails, so if you're around this way, why not drop in on us for a look-see!
And have a little look at this from Sharpy, a few Winter rules at surfm.ag/2013/11/14/winter-rules
Here's a mini-movie to cheer us all up at the start of the week that Rhys (Barfield) put together over the last month or two: vimeo.com/78745351
