Surf conditions at 7.30 a.m. on Sunday 1st December 2013:
It's a calm, still and peaceful morning down in the bay to start today, all overcast and grey but kind of atmospheric for that.
The surf is only small, a foot or two at best but it is real glassy. The breeze, what little there is, is offshore, a gentle north easterly wafting across the dunes. And so those little waves are peaking and peeling, tempting you to reach for the longboard, promising a fun glide or two but not much more.
Yep, it looks like a fun day of longboard sliding that lies ahead of us on those small but immaculately formed little waves!
