5ft Strong Offshore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Thursday 19th December 2013: Whew, that was a bit of a squeeker of a landing last night with screams and squeals bumps and thumps. Exciting though! And then that drive through those winds and rain, a whole new way to rock 'n roll. But luckily didn't roll. Anyway, back into it and it sounds like the surf was good here while I was away too? And this morning there's still a beefy swell rolling around out there, probably in the six to eight feet plus range, the wind a steady south westerly, calm in comparison to last night's blowthrough! But the surf looks a bit of a chore, all lumpy, bumpy, rippy, choppy and washed out really. Harlyn should be good though, let's have a little wander over........ Oh, and here's a little look at the sort of stuff that goes on where i was last week: vimeo.com/81097681 By Alfredo Gonzales and Yannick de Jager.
