8ft Howling Offshore wind * * *
Surf Conditions at 10.05 on Friday 27th December 2013: We did this one by committee! The general consensus between @avery_ben, @rhysbarfield, @camwickins and @chrishodson123 is that it is in the six to eight to ten feet region! I reckon eight to ten, the pretenders say six to eight. Go figure!. Either way it is big enough to make you wonder! The wind is howling, straight offshore, or maybe just a little side to offshore. Big and crunchy, hollow waves, often closing out (from Cellars to Trevone are firing into the bay. Some of the crew have gone estuary exploring, instagramming four foot lip throwers from super sheltered spots, the rest of the guys are taking up space in the shop waiting for the tide to kick in for the 'Lyn. It is pumping out there, solid and lumping, so take it easy!
