3ft Medium Cross-Shore wind * *
Surf conditions at 7.50 a.m. on Thursday 9th January 2014: No, there's not much happening around here this morning either. The surf is a couple to three feet and the wind, lighter than it has been, is still fresh and is now blowing from the west north west, straight onshore. So the surf is a bit mixed up and sloppy, a little choppy and bouncy, fun on a balmy Summer's day, not so tempting in mid January after a lengthy run of really good surf. It should all brighten up fairly soon but I can't see the wind changing that much, although just a little twitch to the south would make a big difference! Right now though, it is very missable.
