3ft Light Offshore wind * * *
Surf conditions at 9.35 a.m. on Thursday 16th January 2014: Well, it's more three than four feet really but the sets are solid and it should build again on the tide, so it's probably going to be a bit bigger later. But right now, it is looking really very nice. The swells are moving smoothly into the bay, rhythmically snapping peaks folding towards the beach, some of them closing-out from rock to sand, others peeling quickly. There's half a dozen or so out, one or two getting pitched, one or two sliding beneath the fold. Yep, it looks fun again and it should improve through the afternoon!
