Howling Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Wednesday 5th January 2014:
OUR WEBSITE SERVER IS STILL DOWN (JUST A LITTLE BIT ANNOYING!!) SO HERE"S TODAY"S SURF REPORT (on Twitter and Facebook):
Wowza, that was a stormy night!
And this morning it is still blowing!
There's not quite the bite to it this morning, not quite the fury of yesterday evening but it is still growling out there, that hungry looking sea surging onto the dunes, a dozen lines of whitewater leading to the Quies.
And those rain squalls are stinging in their ferocity, saltwater needles driven by a storm force wind.
The surf is madness, huge and wild, swirling around the bay, flinging pebbles and stones and slate slabs and granite blocks in a teenage tantrum of shocking strength.
Oh and it is all forecast to increase again yet!
You might be wise to give it a miss today!
Let's have a little look at somewhere more sheltered!
Hopefully we will have WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM back up and flying soon (I should have some separate, exciting news on that soon as well!) but in the meantime I'll try and get the surf check out on social media and seaweed and everywhere else. Just look for constantinesurf and you should find something somewhere!
WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM is the place to go for our early bird SURF REPORT for Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay as well as the surf forecast for tomorrow and the week ahead! Click on over and check out our shop while browsing images and info from the area. WWW.CONSTANTINESURF.COM
