Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Friday 7th February 2014:
This north westerly wind is still whooshing through, a lighter wind than recently but still strong enough to make a mess of that much smaller surf.
It's definitely another 'calm before the storm' day, you can feel that but right now the surf is pretty horrible, a mixed up mess. Give it a few hours though and that could change.
The wind is forecast to swing to the south west and that will clean up the waves around here for the afternoon. It is a bit of a shame that the tide will be dropping through the afternoon but if you have a little look out to the west, you might just be able to see a massive low pressure swooping our way.
That's a tale for the weekend but we might just see some early waves spinning in this afternoon.
Otherwise we can expect some cleaner and gentler waves through this afternoon.
And then there's: TOMORROW!
CHECK OUR WEBSITE FOR THE WEEKEND FORECAST!
If you are around this way over the weekend for that massive swell, why not drop in on us?
Last weekend's SALE was so successful that we might as well keep it rolling through this weekend! So we have this winter's wetsuits at 25%, 30% and 40% OFF!
Last Summer's suits are up to 50% OFF (okay, those are mainly huge or tiny size ones but there's a couple of regular Mediums and one or two Large still left and they are top end suits).
And we still have some FCS fins at HALF PRICE!! Look out for the red dots (it's the only way we can keep track!).
