Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.40 a.m. on Tuesday 11th February 2014:
No, it's not so great here today either. The wind is too westerly and too northerly and too strong to allow those three to four foot waves to break by themselves. They are being tugged and pulled and pushed all over the place, occasionally throwing up an inside grinder that might be of interest if it was a balmy summer's day but no thank you at this time of year!
There is just the glimmer of a chance that the wind might swing that few degrees to the south as the tide rises through the day, which would allow it all to become that little bit more attractive but that is definitely not a given! It's more likely to stay junky throughout the day, making the drive south to the far coast a much more interesting proposition.
