Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Thursday 20th February 2014:
After last night's rain and wind, it's a pleasure to wake up to some brightness and calmness.
It's a shame that the surf is not very good though, there's only three to maybe four feet of mixed up and bumpy stuff rolling sloppily to the beach.
The wind has steadied but is still fresh and blowing in from the south west, onshore here.
The good news is that a new swell should kick in through the morning, getting up to a decent four or five feet, maybe even six by this afternoon. But that wind is likely to stay annoyingly onshore.
So it's looking like another Harlyn day today, maybe small to start but getting better as we go along!
