Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Saturday 1st March 2014:
It's nice around here this morning, three feet of glassy faced and clean waves, smoothly rolling ashore in the calmness.
There's a dozen or so guys launching themselves into it for an early morning one but really there's no big rush. With a midday low tide and only light winds being forecast for the whole day staying offshore all the way through, this afternoon should be pleasant too. It might just be a bit bigger with the incoming tide too.
Yep, it looks like a fun day of decent surf around here for the whole day.
But it would be nice to get in on the other side for a change!
But it is nice that the days are stretching out a little. Only a little but it's suddenly noticeable!
It won't be long before the pre and post work/school crews start getting on it. All that we really need are some settled conditions allowing for some cleaner swells instead of these non-stop storms!
But that will come with Spring I'm sure!
With that thought in our minds we have a bit going on in the shop!
All that lovely new spring and summer stock is already on its way to us and so we will have to clear a bit more space!
This winter's water temperatures having been so mild, we do have a whole bundle of wonderful winter wetsuits leftover! So we are going to have a MASSIVE CLEAR-OUT SALE THIS WEEKEND!
So, if you want a spanking new wetsuit, if it's time to upgrade those booties or gloves or even if you are contemplating a new board, maybe this weekend is that time to do it! And if you see it and you want it then make an offer!!
This Saturday and Sunday only we will be offering £50, £60, £70 and MORE OFF all of our major wetsuits including our range of Xcel and O'Neill 2013/14 suits!
