Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Tuesday 11th March 2014:
Ah, it's nice to get back to a bright and beautiful dawn like this morning's.
The sky is clear, a little hazy but still bright blue from horizon to horizon and it's breathless too, a gentle offshore, easterly, breezing lightly against the waves.
And the waves are pleasant as well, a half decent three foot swell throwing in some two to three to very occasionally four feet waves, all glassy and oily in the early morning breeze. Those waves are lazy looking, not the sharp and cracking, reeling waves of the last however long but more the slower, rolling but glassy and clean type of summery stuff. That is probably as much to do with the tide bottoming out as anything else and so it should all sharpen up and gain a bit more of an edge to it as the day rolls on.
Yep, it's a fab day and we can look forward to sharing some fun waves in the sun!
