Polzeath 6.45: Well as forecast yesterday we can see the sea this morning, but not so sure that is such a great thing as the waves are the smallest and weakest we’ve had here for many months. If you have a big board it may be wise to take it with you today, as the wave faces are barely waist high at the moment. The wind is onshore but very light and it is a pleasant morning. Low water will be at around 11.00 with high tide at 5.00pm. The short term outlook is for not much change tomorrow and Monday but towards the middle of next week we move back to a more unsettled weather pattern; that means wet and windy with some big swells. On your way to the beach, come and see our range of surfboards from 5’2” to 10’ SUP we’ve got most shapes covered. If your board is looking tatty bring it in and get those dings fixed in either epoxy or polyester resin. Where possible we let you try our boards before you buy so that you are sure you are making the right investment. For more information on anything surf or surfboard, please call 01208 863962 or email: surfescape@gmail.com check out our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/EscapeSurfboards we’ll be open today from 9.30 until 12.30 then 2.30 to 4.30pm.

About Escape Surfboards
At Escape Surfboards we are dedicated to producing the best surfboards that are going to suit all surfers, no matter what your ability. We have been working on several new designs over the winter that will get the best out of our slack summer waves. As well as refining our already successful designs we have taken a look at what has been going on in the rest of the world and the results are the all new Kiwi Burst which is a new take on the mini-mal/Flying Carpet concept with a wider body and diamond tail. The Kiwi Burst can be surfed either as a single fin, Thruster or Quad and will be sold exclusively through Magic Seaweed. The second board is the Mini-S which is very much a mini-simms design with its distinctive parallel outline, S deck, with hull shaped bottom entry leading to single concave in the tail; surfed either as a keel twin or quad the Mini-S will be a great board for beating the summer small surf blues. We specialize in making boards in either polyester or epoxy resin and can fix your board in almost any construction. Check out our website, www.facebook.com/EscapeSurfboards email surfescape@gmail.com or get on the old blower and call 01208 863962 for anything surfboard.
