Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.50 a.m. on Friday 28th March 2014:
It’s deserted here this morning, well, except for the mobile crane dropping off a refurbed HQ for Harlyn Surf School. But even then there’s no one actually in sight.
And so it’s all quiet and peaceful, those little waves sloshing ashore, a graceful background sound to a picture of peace.
There’s a foot or two of clean surf whooshing across the sand, a teasing little surf, knee high and tempting.
But the other side has it this morning, it is really good over there. Then again, you have to think that the incoming tide might bump it up at least a little in a couple of hours. So if Harlyn is your favourite place, as it is for quite a few, then you might manage to get a surf in later on this morning but really it’s the other side today.
