2ft Calm Cross-Shore wind * *
Surf conditions at 6.45 a.m. on Thursday 10th April 2014: Bright sunshine is highlighting the glasslike surf this morning, glinting and glistening on those peaking and folding waves. There’s a decent couple of feet of sheet glass surf sliding into the bay this morning with the odd three foot peak wedging onto the Reef. You do have to wait for those ones but they are occasionally surprising the birdlife onshore. There is a canopy of thinly veiled cloud cover above us, that sunrise slipping the brighter weather under it but that should all disappear soon enough while the hedgerows are trapping those waves of mist over the fields. Yep, it’s a very pleasant start to a promising day of easy, gliding surf! Enjoy.
