Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.55 a.m. on Saturday 12th April 2014:
It’s a bit of a sombre looking morning out there, mild enough but overcast and breezy, that westerly wind just about strong enough to tug and pull at you.
The surf is pretty small, a foot or occasionally two, a bit crumbly and bumpy looking, a frothy little shore break on the beach, too small to get going on any of the rockier breaks.
Right now there’s that low cloud cover which has started off most days this week, hopefully that will clear as we go through the morning but there’s no guarantees to that. It’s the same as the surf, all the forecasts are showing some improvement but not until later.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we were all enjoying a couple of feet of lazy, bumpy surf in the sunshine by this afternoon but that is definitely not definite!
