Surf conditions at 6.15a.m. on Thursday 15th May 2014: It is pretty flat looking around here this morning, until those sets that have enough in them swing all the way around the headland and back into the high tide bay. It’s only a foot (or two at the very most) even when that happens though, although I wonder what it was like just ahead of high tide? Anyway, right now it is tiny and erratic. There’s a long wait for those sets that aren’t breaking properly when they do arrive. And with the tide dropping out all morning there’s unlikely to be much breaking here before this evening. And then it’s only likely to be small. No, it’s the other side today, just take your pick of any of the main surf breaks, probably from North Devon to Land’s End. They will all have great surf today!
