Surf conditions at 6.35 a.m. on Friday 16th May 2014:
Another fabulously beautiful morning is embracing us again with that wonderful pale blue sky stretching from one horizon to the other, the sunburst dawn lighting up a swell only slightly smaller than yesterday”s.
The breeze is light, a gentle offshore drift meeting those deep blue walls of watery glass head on.
The surf is a bit bumpy but that is just the tide, it’s only half an hour or so before high and so it’s all just a little deep out there right now. As the tide drops we can expect three feet or thereabouts of clean and sparkly, fun surf. And that should last all day long! We might see some light onshore breezes this afternoon, that is just the sea breeze effect from the warm sunshine on land, it will soon ease off again this evening for the post work gang!
So we can look forward to a bright and sunny day filled with clean and glassy surf! Where else would you want to be!
