Calm Offshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.25 a.m. on Friday 18th July 2014:
The early morning haze of a warm and sticky morning is mixing with low level cloud on blue, while sheet glass surf is washing ashore, those waves almost catching each other up.
There’s a good couple of feet of surf, three on the sets, shimmering as they line up all close together, in a hurry to get to the beach and break.
The tide is wrong, too high for Booby’s, too low for Constantine, a bit mixed up on the Reef.
Somewhere should be good right now, better than here anyway. But give it an hour or two and it should be fun here too!
A pleasant Summer surf session to enjoin this rapidly warming water.
It looks like we might miss the bright and hot sunshine that others are enjoying but that might yet happen here too. But it is warm and coast and there are waves to ride, so it’s all good!
