Surf conditions at 6.05 a.m. on Sunday 20th July 2014: A beautifully tranquil morning has settled on us yet again, some hazy mist drifting gently in the early morning air, a bright sun slipping over the horizon and small glassy little waves splashing along the shore. Yeah, the surf isn’t all that but what little there is is sheet glass and pretty, all clearly defined and enticing but real small. Again. We should find some gliders to slide a longboard across later but you’re going to have to work for it. If you just rock up expecting a surf you might be disappointed, tide times and under sea surfaces are going to play a part in dictating when you’re going to be able to enjoy a fun surf in the sun as opposed to a bit of a let down. HTC and LTB are going to be our best bets, the same as yesterday except with a little more to it. If you get it right then you should be able to have a great Sunday slide on a fabulously sunny Sunday!
