Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 6.15 a.m. on Thursday 7th August 2014:
Another bright and beautiful day is unfolding around us this morning, the sky stretching blue to each horizon, the breeze refreshingly chill this early.
The surf isn’t great, there are only small and wind shaped little one to two foolish waves washing in, all a little tussled, a little sloppy, the wind, light as it is, having its effect. That wind is whistling down from the north, nor’ west, not strongly but with enough force to put a bit of chop into that surf.
We’ll get a surf in but it is likely to be another bumpy and bouncy, sloppy little session. It’s amazing how some sunshine and warm water temperatures can make that so much more attractive though!
And good luck to all the crew down in Fistral, Newquay for the Boardmasters surf comp.!
