Surf conditions at 6.20 a.m. on Wednesday 3rd September 2014:
There’s a brightness in the sky this morning, an inspirational something in the air, maybe a magical moment waiting to be discovered?
The surf is smaller than yesterday which might not be that bad a thing, it was a paddle centre at Booby’s for most of the day yesterday.
Today is showing a smart and sharp three feet or so of looping and peeling, walling waves, that double digit wave-period producing bigger sets and the occasional much bigger set wave.
The breeze is as light as can be, offshore and delicate, the sun is burning through that early morning haze and everything is pointing towards a magical day amongst the waves!
Go wax your favourite board because you are probably going to want to use it somewhere today!
