6AM REPORT: 2-3ft / 1.4mtr groundswell from the south east and increasing sou east windswell to 3ft. Light to moderate winds from the south east in the morning 10-15 kts, turning moderate east sou east in the afternoon 15-20 kts. Try exposed south facing beaches for the most size, but southern corners will be most protected from the wind. Try Mid/Sth Bondi, Bronte and Mid Maroubra in the morning. Check back later for a 4pm afternoon update as the swell is building. Until then enjoy your day.

I am a surfer from cronulla beach on the east coast of australia about 20 minutes from sydney. I have 25 years experience as a surfer.I have ten years experience working in the surf industry in retail and wholesale, I was also a sales representative, for companies such as Aloha Surf, Pottz/Vudu/Darcy Surfboards, Xcel wetsuits, spoon watches, Hammer snowboards and Correll shoes. I am married and have a 3 year old son. I have been working as a surf coach for cronulla surf school for the past 5 years and as a school teachers assistant and belong to cronulla christian surfers and cronulla sharks boardriders club. I compete in regional titles and selected events like The Jesus pro-am and Hurley and Volcom events. I am sponsored by Express Surfboards. I surf every day there is a wave.
