Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Bonfire Night Thursday 5th November 2009. CONSTANTINE: Yep, it's still blowing a gale out there and it's still coming from the north west. So it continues to be a blown out and raggedy scene with no chance of getting a rideable wave around here today. Luckily though, we have had a new batch of surf films from our friends at X-treme in Biarritz. So we can warm up the coffee, grab a munch from the bakers' and snuggle down to do a little bit of "critical anlysis". Ah, it's a tedious task but someone has to step forward and do it. I'm really looking forward to seeing 'Hanging 5', by Chris Cutri. Five surfers - five artists. That's going to be a difficult one to prevent getting too up itself I'm sure. But Wolfgang Bloch is in there, so it can't all be bad. And we'll let you know the good 'uns and the bad 'uns when we're done.
