Howling Onshore wind

Another crazy day on the North Coast. Wind screaming onshore like a Banshee, 4m plus of swell being blown ragged. Soon the ocean will reclaim Newquay and wash it into the sea if this carries on.
Needless to say with the bang on NW winds, the whole Bay and Fistral and Crantock are all blow to bits. Seek shelter!
Up the coast around an estuary we found big peeling right handers yesterday, so this abundance of swell is good for something.
Tomorrow looks like the winds might let up and go southerly, a glimmer of hope for the Bay perhaps. Sunday and Monday next week are showing a little promise with the falling swell and lighter winds, before it all goes radio rental again on Wednesday.
Days like this you either need a kite or a year's subscription to Playboy.
