12ft Strong Cross-Shore wind *
Very, very big surf in Bundoran this morning. The reefs are in the 10-12 foot range but not really surfable with strong SSW winds. Tullan is a mess and the only option for a beach surf is Mullaghmore which should be 2 foot and offshore. No photos this morning as we are off exploring. Will try and post some photos later if we see anything good. We are giving the surf in Bundoran a rating of 1 out of 5 today but somewhere must be pumping in this swell. Low tide: 12:12, 0.7m High tide: 18:19, 3.8m 3 Day Forecast (to 4th February 2011) Lots of swell and wind all week. Massive swell coming in Wed night so there has to be some somewhere offshore and the swell wrapping in – we just have to find it. Winds are probably going to be too strong at most spots but we are off exploring. It’s not on our chart below but Mullaghmore beach should be good when the swell gets really big and wraps in and will have some wind protection also.
