6ft Howling Cross-Shore wind * * *
Some solid winds and waves for today out of the north and NNE. Waves are building going into this afternoon and before the sun sets waves at the sheltered spots here in the Racine County area will be in the fair to good range for surfing. The standout spots are really blown out so to score the better and cleaner waves got to the sheltered spots. There will be some leftover waves for Friday morning at the standout spots but you have to be on it early because the waves will be dropping fast though the morning. After today's and Friday's waves it does look very small to flat for the next several day's. So get out and surf today with some fun waves to be had at a few selective spots. Happy Surfing The Great Lakes 2011. Burton
