Strong Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Wednesday 21st November 2012:
An overcast, grey and breezy morning is reluctantly revealing itself this morning but that torrential overnight rain has just about wrung itself out, leaving a lot of deep roadside puddles about the place, so take it easy if you're out and trekking about.
The wind is still fresh, blowing in from the west, slopping out the three to four feet of already mixed up and grey, uninviting surf.
It ain't pretty and it ain't appealing but there should be waves somewhere, if you can just find your way out of the wind.
Although that is forecast to ease off through the morning. Oh, and the sun is forecast to lollop along by midmorning too. Difficult to believe isn't it?
With that combination of easing winds and a brighter sky along with the fact that the wind will be swinging more around to the south again, you have to think that things should be a lot better later.
I think that a quick gander at Harlyn could be worthwhile!
We have been busy trying to get our Winter products onto the website for you and we're gradually getting there. The site is still a little temperamental but Ben (Art of Fishing) is gradually sorting the technical bugs while I'm going boggle-eyed trying to upload all those lovely wetsuits, and bits 'n bobs along with our new jackets and hoodies and Ts and all sorts! So, keep an eye out for some 'Pop Up' pre-Christmas one-off Sale offers!
And we are going to be looking to clear a heap of stuff that is left over from Summer too, once I can get it uploaded onto the site (including some great Surfboard giveaways!).
So keep checking back for those one-off bargains!!
The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing has been on hold again but that's okay, there's a few days left to get the event going so it is worth them waiting for the best conditions. So you know that when it does get back on track the action will rock. Follow it all at www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com
