Howling Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.50 a.m. on Thursday 22nd November 2012:
It's just a little breezy out there this morning! But the surf is nowhere near as big as it might be.
It's five or six feet out there I guess, with pretty much gale force winds whistling through from the south sou' west and blasting everything in the way. Yep, it's a churned up and boiling mess of swirling water in the bay this morning! You might not want to be going too near it! Unless you've got a real good kite or something, maybe.
I was blown home from Plymouth very late last night (after a great meal with John Copley, Tomo (over from Cali), Scotty and Mike, a very sober affair compared to days of yore! Thanks guys!), aqua-planing through deep roadside pools and it's pretty much wetter and windier this morning!
So, let's give the main breaks a miss today and have a little look at Harlyn.
We have been busy trying to get our Winter products onto the website for you and we're gradually getting there. The site is still a little temperamental but Ben (Art of Fishing) is gradually sorting the technical bugs while I'm going boggle-eyed trying to upload all those lovely wetsuits, and bits 'n bobs along with our new jackets and hoodies and Ts and all sorts! So, keep an eye out for some 'Pop Up' pre-Christmas one-off Sale offers!
And we are going to be looking to clear a heap of stuff that is left over from Summer too, once I can get it uploaded onto the site (including some great Surfboard giveaways!).
So keep checking back for those one-off bargains!!
The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing has been on hold again but that's okay, there's a few days left to get the event going so it is worth them waiting for the best conditions. So you know that when it does get back on track the action will rock. Follow it all at www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com
