Light Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Friday 23rd November 2012:
Yep, it is the calm following the storm this morning.
That annoying wind has eased right back to a gentle onshore, strong enough to move the marram grass, strong enough to make the surf sloppy but way, way calmer than it was yesterday!
There's a bigger than it first looks swell rolling in this morning too. At first sight it looks three to maybe four feet and sloppy but once you focus in you can see that it's twice that.
So that will be a fun paddle then!
It could do with an offshore on it to tidy things up and get some shape going but with the forecast showing even this breeze reducing then we might see some pleasantly glassy conditions later.
It's worth a little check back around about high tide. And that is neap too, so we should see it break all the way through.
Big HTC anyone?
We have been busy this week trying to get our Winter products onto the website for you and we're gradually getting there!
The site is still a little temperamental but with the help of Ben (Art of Fishing) the technical bugs are gradually being sorted while I'm going boggle-eyed trying to upload all those lovely wetsuits, and bits 'n bobs along with our new jackets and hoodies and Ts and all sorts!
So, keep an eye out for some 'Pop Up' pre-Christmas one-off Sale offers!
And we are going to be looking to clear a heap of stuff that is left over from Summer too, once I can get it uploaded onto the site (including some great Surfboard giveaways!).
So keep checking back for those one-off bargains!!
The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing has been on hold again but that's okay, there's a few days left to get the event going so it is worth them waiting for the best conditions. So you know that when it does get back on track the action will rock. Follow it all at www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com
