Morning folks, too misty for a photo yet at Cayton but it's pretty much flat and frosty.
Our original forecast from earlier in the week is still looking to pan out, SE surf and winds building overnight with waves due Sunday, from another rare low moving up the North Sea (see shot). Luckily it does veer off half way up over Eastern Europe and in doing so sucks isobars, wind and surf down the North Sea with plenty of waves destined for our shores come Tues/Wed. For the end of the week an equally random system will be sat over Europe with it's centre North of Italy. The top section of this low will be blasting surf and cold winds across from Norway with a huge NE swell which should hit in excess of 10ft. Friday morning will bare the brunt but there still looks to be sizeable surf right through the weekend with a good chance of some snow towards the back end and into the following week...just what we've been waiting for.
