Surf Conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Thursday 29th November 2012:
There's a foot or two of clean and lazy, lined up little surf rolling in this morning with long, long stretches between sets.
The breeze is light and seems to be from the north east, just putting that lazy ruffle on the surface of the sea. If you're prepared to wait for long enough there are two foot waves rolling shoreward, maybe even just occasionally a bit bigger but those ones are a long way apart!
This is a couple of hours after high tide and so I guess that it could very well improve on this afternoon's incoming tide. The forecasts are all showing a very slow but sure build in the swell too, as well as a continued drop in wind strength (not to mention that wind shifting further around to the south east!). And so with the dawn sky throwing front light onto the early morning cloud-huddles offshore, it looks like a very promising start to what could just be a fun day of surf!
And for your evening's entertainment, the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach, Hawaii has kicked off in mixed up but rippable surf conditions. Catch all the action at www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com/vansworldcupofsurfing2012/live
I've been updating the site and trying to get the wetsuit stock on and listed this last week or two and we're getting there! But while doing it I just thought that with Christmas approaching and the water temps starting to dip properly, maybe we should throw an offer out there to tempt you to buy from us?
So, how about a Pre-Christmas Blast: 25% off any wetsuit bought in the next Five days!! Offer closes Tuesday 4th December.
And, if you're stuck wondering about a useful pressie for that surfer in your life, we have put together a little stocking for you, filled with those basic items that most surfers forget to buy but are always useful:

Kooksurfer's Tide book for Cornwall (or North Devon if you must!),
an FCS key holder with spare grub screws,
