Light Cross-Shore wind
Surf conditions at 8.20 a.m. on Sunday 2nd December 2012:
There is a little drizzle in the air but it's a lot milder this morning, that's probably a sign of the wind slipping more southerly. The surf is rolling in at a couple to three feet, that light wind a little cross to onshore already.
Ben (Bennett) is up 'n at 'em already and enjoying a few long and peelingish ones.
But the forecasts are now showing that offshore windswitch to kick in at around lunch time. And the swell should pick up on this afternoon's tide too!
So, while it looks like fun now, not brilliant but okay, this afternoon looks like it could rock!
Let's hope that the Vans World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach, Hawaii gets going again soon! The forecast is for some big and clean stuff for their Monday! Follow the action at www.vanstriplecrownofsurfing.com/vansworldcupofsurfing2012/live
