Medium Onshore wind

How long is it taking for daylight to take over! Although it is now only a few days till the shortest day and then..... Christmas!
And you might just find that Christmas arrives a little early this year for surfers on this coast; this afternoon's forecast is looking smoking for surf and even the weather!
Right now there is very little wind, a light onshore breeze, enough to make the three to five foot swell a little mixed up, a little bouncy and just a little choppy. It is going to need an offshore to help shape it and the good news is that is what is forecast for the afternoon! By lunchtime we should be enjoying light south easterly winds and bright skies with that still punchy swell rolling through.
At the moment, a little ahead of high tide, it is all a bit mixed up but with that wind switch, it should get very good indeed this afternoon!
