Strong Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 8.05 a.m. on Friday 28th December 2012:
Another grey and at first sight pretty cheerless morning greets us at the end of this Christmas Week.
The wind is a little lighter blowing in mild air from the south west, those grey skies threatening at least the odd shower, maybe worse for later.
The surf is thick and rolling, that wind tugging the grey, grey waves here, there and everywhere else.
It's a bit of a mess, four to five to six feet of thick and lumpy, solid looking stuff bouncing into the bay, continuing to scour an already well scraped beach, turning the bay into a big bowl.
It's going to be interesting to see how the surf breaks here on the next clean swell when it comes!
In the meantime, let's wander back across the headland to Harlyn........
