Surf conditions at 7.40 a.m. on Tuesday 8th January 2013:
These mornings are still staying dark for ages aren't they?
It's another mild one, double digits centigrade in the pre-dawn, with more light just not quite offshore, southerly wind. The seven second sweep of Trevose lighthouse is showing a dull sky, grey and threatening but dry, so far!
The swell is looking a little tired this morning, still three feet, maybe very occasionally a bit bigger but just looking a bit wishy washy, a bit sloppy, a bit mushy. Still very surfable and if it was the height of Summer you'd be all over it but maybe not so attractive at this time of year.
But somewhere must be good again today.
It could be worth a little trip down (or up!) the coast.
