2ft Calm Cross-Shore wind * *
Surf conditions at 7.40 a.m. on Saturday 12th January 2013: There's a bit of a sideshore ruffle on those small waves, those small and crumbly waves! The swell is mainly rolling straight past the bay this morning but that is on the dropping tide too, so there might be a little more happening on this afternoon's incoing Spring tide. With the other side going off in such style and lots of other main breaks holding great, great shape, this kind of looks like a non-contender but there are a couple wading out in the half light and another getting changed, so maybe they see something different. If Harlyn is your favourite, then it might be worth a little look back this afternoon. But with this swell and that breeze, I think that it is a day for the other side!
