Surf conditions at 7.40 a.m. on Monday 28th January 2013:
It's a windy one again this morning, not the storms that we were expecting (yet!) but windy enough to blow out those big waves.
That big red and golden sunrise is quickly becoming blocked by something more grey and cloudy too, promising a bit of a duller day ahead while that wind is forecast to strengthen, a lot.
But there's a lot of birdsong about and those daffodils are showing along the laneside hedgerows, so Spring isn't too far away!
In the meantime, the surf here is big but windblown, with no lineup to aim for, a bouncy sea of growling rollers.
Let's have a look over the headland at Harlyn........
