8ft
Strong Onshore wind

Surf conditions at 7.35 a.m. on Wednesday 30th January 2013:
It has dropped in size from yesterday morning's massiveness but it's no better for that.
In spite of that glorious almost full moon hovering over the bay and those bright sunrays zapping from the moors, the surf is still a mixed up mess of windswept and bouncy greyness, high tide causing some entertaining backwash but not doing anything to tempt. I'm guessing that it's about six to eight feet although that is irrelevant, it's so mixed up that you wouldn't want to paddle out here any time soon!
Mind you, the wind is lighter than forecast, still westerly (straight onshore) which is a shame but not yet blowing a hooley. And it's always surprising how much better it all looks with even a little bit of sunshine!
But let's have a wander over to Harlyn.........
