Polzeath 9.10: After a wild night of strong winds, the dawn breaks bright with some cloud and a stiff cold Northerly breeze blowing across the beach at high tide. The waves are chopped up and about head high with the wind is due to drop in strength during the day, low tide will be at about 3.30 by when the faces should be a bit cleaner. The outlook is for this windy spell to continue with tomorrow having a moderate Westerly onshore breeze, so once again you may have to look elsewhere for clean rides.
