Medium Onshore wind
Surf conditions at 7.50 a.m. on Friday 8th February 2013:
The wind is blowing straight in here this morning, completely sideshore on the other side of the headland, completely onshore here.
And so the swell is being pushed up a little by the local wind, making for bigger actual waves than there should be. That's why it looks pretty much the same size as the other side but if anything it's a bit choppier.
So if you're going to be surfing mixed up waves anyway, then the other side has the advantage today!
I don't think that it's big enough for the far coast this morning, is it?
