Surf conditions at 7.55 a.m. on Saturday 9th February 2013:
Ah, the wind is lighter and the air is milder but that surf is still a bit junky.
It's also a bit smaller than it has been too.
But that is a couple to three hours before low tide on the drop, so it might improve a bit on the incoming tide at lunchtime.
Right now it's a sloppy couple to maybe three feet, the wind is light but steady, blowing more westerly than northerly and forecast to keep slipping around more to the south. It is surfable and if it was Summer we'd be all over it but at this time of year you might want to be a bit more choosy. I still think that this afternoon's tide will show something a bit better though. It might even be worth a little look around at Harlyn by then too!
You do seem to have been enjoying our WEEKEND POP-UP SALEs with massive reductions on pretty much everything, so maybe that's the way to go again this weekend? Okay, let's do it! Massive reductions on all sorts of stuff between 10 and 4 today and tomorrow only! And then we'll have to finish it (apart from anything else we won't have much left to sell!)!
