Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Tuesday 12th February 2013:
It's pumping again this morning with absolutely calm conditions, no wind at all and so those thick walls of glass are standing tall before tubing into the distance!
I had expected it to drop off a bit more than it seems to have this morning. But, an hour or so after high tide, it is still a solid six feet and still bigger on the sets. There is a bit more space between those swells than there was yesterday, no bad thing but a sign that the swell is likely to very slowly drop.
In the meantime the air is still, the swell is pumping, light offshores are forecast for later and pretty much every break along the coast is likely to be enjoying great surf!
