Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Wednesday 13th February 2013:
It's another day of calm winds and clean conditions, with smaller waves than there has been but still looking good nonetheless.
It's three feet, maybe a bit bigger on the sets but that is pretty much bang on high tide and so it might just drop a little with the dropping tide.
But the wind is set light, breezing in from the south east, straight offshore and so those waves are as pretty as a picture. And the swell is likely to build again on this afternoon's tide anyway.
Yep, it looks like another day of maybe a bit more fun surfing today!
Meanwhile we are eager-beavering away in the shop, planning for the now not too far off 2013 season.
We have just tied up a deal with a new (to the UK) brand out of California which is exciting and we are also in the middle of tying up a surfboard deal with boards supplied to our specs. And we have a few other exciting irons in the fire for the 2013 season! More news on those and other exciting developments on here when they are definite!
In the meantime though, the floor needs patching, the outside needs tidying, the website needs a bit of a kicking and it's the school half-term holidays next week!
We'll have to think of a bit of an event to tempt in those visitors here for the school holidays. I'm getting a bit fed up with the same old sales offers though, so any ideas?
And here's a little image mash up of the surf on just one day, yesterday, Tuesday 12th february from a variety of people in a variety of places:
