Surf conditions at 7.20 a.m. on Wednesday 13th February 2013:
Wow, it's so frustrating that Harlyn can look so appealing when it is really, really small at full high tide!
Why can't it be like this when it's six feet?
Conditions are absolutely perfect for a beautiful, peeling peak to be reeling off at high tide.
Unfortunately it's not much bigger than a foot with maybe the odd two footer cresting through every half hour or so! A classic logging peak that would be huge fun if it was all that was available but with the other side being three feet and clean, then why would you? Especially when you know that it will be gone in a minute!
No, it might be the weekend before we're surfing here again!
