Surf conditions at 7.10 a.m. on Wednesday 20th February 2013:
It's a bit of a stunner out there this morning, again!
A different kind of day with a crisp layer of frost on the foreshore, crunching underfoot and bringing that winter's Bling to an otherwise summer's looking day. Kernowfornia in style!
The surf is a pleasant and fun looking two to three to four feet, all glassy and peeling and inviting, almost hissing in the coldness of this still and crisp, February morning. The breeze, and it is barely a breeze, is still offshore, as light as can be. But that is forecast to change so the sooner you can get on it the better it will be!
Yep, with a magnificient sunrise just to cap it all off it is looking like another wonderful day in the middle of a week of wonderful surf and stunning weather!
Have yourselves yet another beautiful day!
And with the school half term holidays upon us the kids are going to be frothing in these conditions. So to celebrate the groms being on the loose, we are doing a little 'GROM SALE!'
No, we're not selling the little beggars, we are reducing all of our Grom lines by 25%!! So, if the little surfer in your life is keen, then now is the time to check out our boards, wetsuits, boots and gloves, clothing and all sorts!
We're open daily from 10 till 4 so drop in on us this week!
Also, for all the young 'uns who are looking to push their surfing up a level or two, here's a big opportunity; Tom Butler is putting on a Groms' performance training camp in sunny Portugal over Easter! Check it out at: tbsurfing.com/images/site/Tom%20Butler%20Grom%20Weeks.pdf
